Biography
Lorna Anguilano is a senior research fellow at the Experimental Techniques Centre and the co-director of the Wolfson Centre for sustainable material development and processing at Brunel University London and she is the director and chief scientific officer at Phyona Ltd. Lorna’s research interest focus on the recovery of waste stream and soil contamination and their upcycling to high value products such as nanomaterials and composites for a variety of application such as energy and construction. Lorna works in strict collaboration with industry to ensure that the outcomes of her research find timely application in the manufacturing sector and support the thrive to circular economy and sustainable societies.
