Dr. Marialuisa Acquaviva holds a Doctorate in Medicine and specialized in Psychiatry. She has extensive professional experience across hospitals and clinics in the United Kingdom and Ireland, where she has been dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing.

Driven by a deep passion for environmental protection and sustainable development, Dr. Acquaviva has long advocated for stronger action on climate change and the transition toward renewable energy. Her interest lies particularly in the relationship between environmental sustainability and public health, recognizing that the wellbeing of people is closely linked to the health of our planet.

Since joining the SEEP Conference in 2004 as Conference Coordinator, Dr. Acquaviva has played an active role in promoting the conference’s mission of advancing renewable and sustainable energy solutions. She has participated in and contributed to numerous international forums and events, where she emphasizes the importance of integrating environmental awareness, renewable energy adoption, and sustainable practices into both policy and everyday life.
